I don’t think I have come across a dentist that was so diligent, supportive and caring. I live over 2 hours away from this dental practice but I think I will continue to see them in the future.

Dr. Diluni and all the dental nurses I have seen have taken the time to explain everything thoroughly, and provide helpful treatment information. I used to dread going to the dentist and for the first time I can say I no longer do!
”
Cat Mc

Great dentist, very friendly & caring staff. I went in slightly hesitant & was set at ease with the friendly & professional Dr Xin. Thank you all.
”

Very friendly, professional and caring staff. I am not usually good with dentists but Diluni and staff have made it much less stressful for me. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
”
Lauriss McCloud

They made me feel at ease when I had major dental work done. The team always kept me informed of any changes and were accommodating if I needed to change a day because of work commitments.
”

The confidence and reassurance I have now is thanks to them and I am thrilled that I could undergo major dental surgery because of this trust.

Our Specialised Services Include:
Treatments You Can Access Using Your Super
If you're eligible, early access to your superannuation can help cover a wide range of dental treatments, especially those that impact your daily health and wellbeing. Here’s how we can help:

Dental Implants
Implants are a permanent, functional solution for missing teeth. They're often approved for early super access due to the impact on your ability to eat, speak, and smile confidently.

Orthodontics
Correcting jaw alignment and bite issues isn’t just cosmetic - it’s essential for long-term oral health. If medically necessary, orthodontic treatment may be eligible.

Root Canals
This treatment relieves severe tooth pain and infection. Because it’s critical for preserving your natural teeth, it's commonly included in early super applications.

Dental Crowns
Crowns are used to restore strength and structure to damaged teeth. If your condition affects daily function, they may be eligible under your application.

Periodontics
Advanced gum disease can impact your overall health. Periodontal treatment is often considered essential and may be covered through early super release.

Sleep Dentistry
If dental anxiety is a barrier to treatment, sleep dentistry can be included as part of your super-accessible plan for essential care.
Accessing Your Super for Dental Treatment
Did you know you may be able to use your superannuation to cover the cost of essential dental care? In some cases, this option is also available for a family member. Under the guidelines of the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993, the Australian Tax Office (ATO) allows early access to super when treatment is considered medically necessary.
This option can be especially helpful for families who:
- Do not have the right level of private health insurance
- Do not have enough funds readily available
- Have a family member with superannuation who may be eligible to apply
We are here to help you understand the criteria and guide you through each step with clarity and care.

Who is Eligible?
You might be eligible to apply for early access to your superannuation if you, or a dependent, need dental care that is considered medically necessary and you are unable to afford it through other means.
To qualify, the treatment needs to meet both of the following criteria:- It helps relieve ongoing or severe pain or addresses a mental health condition that is being impacted by dental problems.
- It is not available through the public healthcare system within a reasonable timeframe.
FAQs
The ATO’s Early Super Release program takes the financial strain out of accessing high-quality dental care. But, it’s not available for everyone.
Yes, in some cases you can. If the person is financially dependent on you (such as a child or partner), you may be able to apply on their behalf. We can help you understand if your situation meets the eligibility criteria.
Treatments that are considered medically necessary are often eligible. This can include dental implants, root canal therapy, crowns, oral surgery, or orthodontic work that addresses pain or functional issues.

The application is made through the Australian Tax Office (ATO), often with supporting documentation from your dental practitioner and a medical professional. We’re here to guide you through the process step by step.
Yes. The ATO usually requires a supporting letter from a registered medical practitioner to confirm that the treatment is necessary to prevent or alleviate serious pain, dysfunction, or a mental health condition.
No. Superannuation and private health insurance are separate. If your health fund does not cover the treatment or only covers part of it, early super access may help with the remaining costs.
The timeframe can vary, but it usually takes a few weeks from the time you submit a complete application. We’ll make sure you have everything you need to avoid unnecessary delays.
Absolutely. We’ll provide the necessary dental reports and treatment plan, and we can liaise with your medical provider as needed to ensure your application is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
